Make Spanish Tortilla at Home
When cooking Spanish tortilla the ingredients required are:
- Six eggs ,
- Half cup of olive oil., Salt and pepper to taste.,
- Two table spoons of olive oil.,
- Two tablespoons chopped Italian parsley..
- Two sliced inions. Two pounds baking potatoes..
- Three ounces chopped Spanish Serrano ham.,
- One roasted pepper. Heat a half cup olive oil in a wide skillet with low heat.

Take half of the potato slices and add to it Cook, occasionally stirring for 15 to 20 minutes.
After that place potatoes in a larger bowl and oil left in the skillet.
The remaining potatoes are cooked in the oil till tender then transfer them to the bowl.
The oil is left in the skillet. Add salt and pepper to the potatoes.
In the intervening time put two tablespoons of olive oil in a skillet and heat over medium heat.
Stir in onions than cook until they become soft and golden brown in about 15 minutes.
Place onions on a plate and allow cooling.
Whisk the six eggs M a bowl, stir in onions, Serrano ham.
Gently fold in potatoes that have been cooked.
The skillet is then heated by the reserved oil on a low heat.
The egg mixture is poured into It’s gently cooked until the sides begin to set and bottom turned golden brown that needs about 10 minutes.
Make the tortilla loose with a spoon if there is need than slide them into a plate.
The skillet is turned upside down and place it on the uncooked side of the tortilla that has not been cooked.
Then turn it back right side up and the plate is now removed.
The skillet is returned to the stove and cooking continues for about five minutes till the tortilla has set in the middle.
After that, transfer the tortilla to a plate, cut into six wedges.
Sprinkle them with parsley and then serve.
